If so, give me your good experiences (who, where), and your bad experiences. In this way, we can improve the travel experience for those who need some form of assistance.

Roger, you might also point your readers to the book "101 Accessible Vacations" which is a guide dedicated to exclusivley to special needs, wheelchair accessible destinations as well as lodging and recreation opportunities. The author has a very good blog that she post regular updates to about travel tips and travel experiences. Well worth the time.
